18 Weeks

 

We find out the baby’s gender at our ultrasound on Tuesday.  I thought I wanted a little girl but now that I think about it it would be nice for Fox to have a little brother. So really, I’ll be happy either way. The worst of the sickness has passed, though I still get ‘throw back’ days here and there. What I seem to be left with is this general feeling of grossness and a constant, sickening taste in my mouth. It’s not ideal but really, I can’t complain. On the up side, I met my midwife the other day and she is lovely, so that’s a huge weight off my shoulders. My mother is always saying that a good midwife makes all the difference in the world when it comes to giving birth (and just the whole pregnancy experience in general, really). And I couldn’t agree more.
