FOX // THIRTEEN MONTHS
Each month your are proving to be more and more of a stubborn, determined little character. In the past month your personality has really come alive. You are both affectionate and willful. You give me cuddles and blow me kisses but you are quick to lash out if words like ‘no’ or ‘all gone’ are not the ones you wanted to hear. You like to chat to yourself or to toys and objects you find particularly fascinating but your favourite noise is a high-pitched squeal/shriek that makes my ears ring. This is your ‘I strongly disapprove’ noise. It’s usually heard around meal times when your food is taking too long to find itself to your high-chair. Occasionally, you use it as your ‘I’m bored’ or ‘I’m overtired’ noise, just to keep me on my toes. You are also settling into a typical sibling relationship with your big sister. You enjoy each others company, you laugh and play happily together and all is fine. So long as one of you is not playing with something that the other wants. Which is pretty much all the time.
