The majority of Lamb’s photos this week were like this (i.e. of the back of Fox’s head). He was fairly happy while I was taking photos of him but as soon as I handed the camera to Lamb he decided he had had enough. I actually really liked some of the few she managed to catch of him not facing the wall but I just love this one. It’s just so him. It captures perfectly his defiant little personality. I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how much of the creative process is about selecting the images. Eventually I want Lamb to select her own photo but at the moment I feel like I’d be pushing my luck. She is fairly ambivalent about the whole thing right now. I am persevering with it in the hope that she will be brimming with pride when she sees what an achievement she has made at the end of the year. But I guess I’ll have to wait to see how it all pans out.
