The Blue Mountains. Home of the Three Sisters, breathtaking scenery, charming little old cottages and alternative church signage. The day didn’t start so well when little man decided to have a complete meltdown because he wanted his sister’s suitcase. It had wheels and pretty, pink flowers on it. His did not. Instead of hopping into the car, he protested by sticking his face into a hedge and crying “my shu-kay (suitcase)”. I had to pick him up, kicking and screaming, and strap him into his seat. Thankfully, he fell asleep not too long into the journey. After about three hours of Lamb asking, “Are we there yet? Are we almost there? How much further?”, Fox sat up, rubbed his eyes, yawned, threw his head back into his chair and said “my shu-kay”. All was (temporarily) forgotten when we reached our destination and found a lolly shop down a little lane. When told they could both pick out a lolly each Lamb chose a Boo (from Monsters Inc) Pez and Fox, unsurprisingly, also chose a Boo Pez.

  1. Your photos always have so much magic in them. I love the old-time feel of the shot of fox with his dad in that amazing cafe. The interior, with that wood-panelling and greek gods! Oh my, swoon.

And Fox sounds just like my boy. It isn't fair that their sisters get all the floral, sparkle wonderfullness!

  2. I know, he wants everything his sister has. Unfortunately, they don't sell those suitcases anymore so we only have one. He also loves wearing his sisters clothes. He especially loves her pink, sparkly tutu.
