LAMB: So the countdown is on and I’m feeling the pressure to spend as much time with you as possible before Fox arrives and demands all my attention. I want to devote myself to you, to breath you in and to make you feel special in these few remaining weeks. We went on a train ride to the Hawkesbury River today, just you and me. When we arrived I started looking for a nice place to have lunch, however as soon as you spotted a (slightly questionable looking) fish and chips joint I had to resign myself to the fact that that’s where we would be eating. There is almost nothing you love more than chippies. Afterwards, we indulged in a chocolate milkshake, walked to the marina to watch the boats then caught the train back home. I’m afraid to say that I spent the afternoon curled up in bed with a horrendous stomachache – but I wouldn’t change our day together for the world.
I will be adding more photos as soon as I feel well enough to look at the ones of her eating chips.

  1. Your story made me giggle. Gosh little Lamb has such an expressive, beautiful face…That business of breathing in a child, devoting yourself to them, I've been thinking of that a lot lately. We are hoping to have a second child soon, but the thought of it kind of makes me desperately sad that it won't be the three of us anymore…x

  2. Oh! Lamb is so gorgeous. Each photo as wonderful and sweet as the next. Love that cute sweet smile as she peeks out behind the bench. ah-doooor-able!!! xo

  3. My little one loves her chippies too! 🙂 I love the gorgeous colors and contrast in these… you always capture Lamb so beautifully.

  4. I know how you feel. That's why I had always planned to have the second one once Lamb started school and I couldn't spend as much time with her anyway. Fate had other plans it seems.
