September! The official start of Spring. The month we finally got to dip our toes in the ocean and even go for a swim. The big kids are off for two weeks before going back for the last term of school for 2023. It’s starting to really sink in that this will be the last term I will have with a child at home with me. The last one. Motherhood can be a slow sort of grief at times. Sending my last baby off to Kindergarten will possibly the hardest milestone for me thus far. So I will endeavor to take this last term slowly, to sit and appreciate his presence and to just revel in his beautiful, nonsensical, magical 5-year-old way of thinking. I will miss it a lot.
