Halloween 2017

I have to say, I’m coming around to the idea of Halloween. It’s becoming more and more of a ‘thing’ here in Australia. And while I’m not fond of the idea of copious amounts of sugar and dealing with the sugar hangovers the morning after, I’m all for dressing up, taking a stroll around the neighborhood and the strong community vibes. Plus, the excitement from the kids is palpable. Every day for at least two weeks beforehand one or both of them have asked me, ‘When is Halloween coming?’. Sometimes multiple times a day. Which was endearing (if not a little annoying). Fox woke up the morning after Halloween and the first thing to come out of his mouth was, ‘When is it going to be Halloween again?’. He has even begun to think of outfit ideas for his unborn brother.
