We began the day with a walk to the park and a play on the swings and by sunset we found ourselves back there again. The past few days have been unusually warm and we have been making the most of it with trips to the beach, fish and chips and ice-creams. I love this ‘in between’ weather, when it’s not too cold that we have to huddle together at night to keep warm and it’s not too hot that all we can do is sit in front of the fan and eat ice. However, with the hottest winter on record and the first two days of spring feeling more like summer, I’m dreading more forty-five degree heat waves ahead. At least I’m not pregnant this time.
