LAMB: The smiling yellow sun drew us out of hibernation today. We took a trip to the beach, our spirits high with the hope that summer may be just around the corner. We were a little premature, as it turns out. Torrential winds and sand in sensitive little eyes forced us to retreat to the safety of a nearby park. While you entertained yourself on the swing set, your daddy, brother and I lay in the grass and soaked up the sun. All-in-all it was a good day. It’s ordanary, some may say mundane, days like this that make me glad to be alive. I now realise that it’s not so much what you do in life but the company you keep that is important. And I couldn’t possible have wished for better company.

  1. I used to think I'd be happy if I had some amazing career and traveling the world etc. But I found happiness simply by being a mummy and watching my kiddies grow up. There is nothing more rewarding.
