A few weeks ago we saw the first buds of Spring start to sprout around the garden and I quietly congratulated myself on getting through Winter without getting some sort of horrible flu or virus. So, of course, karma dictated that I repent for my premature smugness by spending the last weeks of Winter in bed wishing I had never existed. A flu, a cold and then (worst of all) a stomach bug. Touché karma, touché.

Thank god Spring is on its way. I’m really looking forward to those 4 or 5 days in a year when I’m neither too hot to move nor too cold to get out of bed.

I took the kids to stay at a fancy hotel in Sydney

I took the kids to stay at a fancy hotel in Sydney over the weekend. We went swimming, shopping, ate amazing food and visited the aquarium. But hands down the best part for me was the city view from the bath tub. I guess this is what being middle aged looks like.

Also, for as long as I can remember I've had a photo of my children as my phones wallpaper. That was, until I saw this image. And honestly, I think @gilliana is the only person that could possibly replace my children for this sacred position.
