FOX: licking water of questionable quality from his finger tips.
LAMB: Looking around anxiously for crocodiles. Even after I’d reassured her (for like the hundredth time) that crocodiles don’t live anywhere near here.
The days have been long and hot. When we are not sitting at home in front of the fan we can be found playing in or around a substantial body of water. On most days it’s the beach, but today we went to our favourite tree-lined creek. We chased tadpoles and watched fantails playfully dart from branch to branch. On the way home we stopped near a large meadow and picked wildflowers as the sun dipped below the horizon. Not everyday as a parent is a bed of roses but others just seem to flow easily. Well, more easily than most. Needless to say, either way, I wouldn’t change it for the world.
Wow, I love these! Such beautiful photographs, I especially like the one where your son grabs the flowers 🙂
Spectacular images. The separation of foreground and background you achieve in that initial photograph is inspiring, as are the candid moments you capture even in semi-posed portraits. And I LOVE the image of your son reaching for the bouquet.
Stunning as always.
These pictures feel like fairy tale. Very very nice!
I love all these photos! 🙂 Always so inspiring!
