Ausmusic t-shirt day is fast approaching (28th Nov

Ausmusic t-shirt day is fast approaching (28th Nov). This is my ‘Homegrown’ shirt from last year’s t-shirt day and it’s on high rotation in my closet, so much so that I have two. This is my black one. The one I originally bought was white. However, I failed to take into account that my daily coffee addiction coupled with my total lack of spatial awareness is incompatible with a white shirt, something I should have fully been aware of by this point in my life.

Anyway, this year I stepped outside my comfort zone and I signed up to be a fundraiser. All funds go directly to @supportact who provide crisis relief to Aussie musicians, managers, crew and music workers. If you feel inclined to donate, I’ve popped a link in my bio. Or you could go to ausmusictshirtday.org.au to grab a shirt to wear on the day. I have my eye on this year’s ‘Homegrown’ one. And, bonus, it’s black!

October outtakes:

1. Does anyone else experience an irrational level of empathy for inanimate objects? I spied this guy in an op-shop and he looked so lonely, I just had to bring him home.
 2 - 4. Family dinner date. The only occasion I have left in my life where I can put on a dress and makeup. And I’m not sad about it at all. Also, my iPhone camera sucks.

5. When I try to send a funny meme to my husband but he is a total boffin.

6. I have mixed feelings about Halloween but the kids *love* it and their excitement is contagious.
